Missionary Profile:

Rene and Fe Tanjusay have been serving as missionaries of NTMPI since 1979. In his bachelor years, Rene served among the Kalanguya of Nueva Vizcaya and Calamian Tagbanua of Coron, Palawan. Fe, on the other hand, worked among the Bugkalot of Nueva Vizcaya province. As husband and wife, they continue to serve as dorm parents of Bugkalot and Kalanguya students in Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya. Rene also oversees the NTSM extension training program in Bambang for tribal people who desire to prepare for cross-cultural missionary training. Every Saturday, he hosts a radio program called “Gemeng Ti Banbantay” (Treasures in the Mountains) promoting the NTMPI ministry and challenging listeners to pray and respond to the call of God for missions. Fe is a retired public teacher who worked among Bugkalot elementary students in Giayan, Nueva Vizcaya. Rene and Fe have four grown-up children: Rene Paul, Efren John, Felicia Janice, and Lea Fay.
