Missionary Profile:
Daniel and Honeylin were already married and actively serving in a local church before entering missionary training at the New Tribes School of Missions. They have been serving as full-fledged missionaries with NTMPI since 2021 and are currently ministering among the Ata Manobo tribe in Davao del Norte.
Daniel now serves as the field leader of the Ata Manobo team. He is actively involved in teaching and developing lessons for the BOFF (Building on Firm Foundations) phases and plays a key role in facility development within the mission field. He is also engaged in livelihood programs that support the community.
Honeylin faithfully serves in the medical assistance ministry and is consistently involved in food assistance programs. She also helps manage accommodations for visitors and team needs in the field.
Together, Daniel and Honeylin are committed to investing in the next generation by assisting Butoy students with their educational needs and providing encouragement for their studies. They are also involved in biblical counseling, helping the Manobo believers navigate spiritual struggles and offering guidance grounded in God’s Word.
Their teaching ministry is currently in Phase 3 of BOFF, with plans to begin Phase 4 this year 2026. The team is preparing to train future Bible teachers within the community and is also planning visitations and surveys this year to explore potential outreach opportunities for 2027.
