Harry, a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in English, and Myrna, a trained Barangay Health Worker, have been full-pledged missionaries for three decades now. They met as trainees at New Tribes School of Mission in Bataan and got married after they completed their training in 1992. They first served as church planters among the Calamian, Tagbanua of Coron, Palawan for 15 years.
Responding to the call of God to reach the unreached people groups overseas, Harry and Myrna became missionaries in Southeast Asia. They became English teachers and private tutors to university and college students in their field station. Due to the pandemic, the couple availed the government’s repatriation program and are now in a one-year furlough. Harry and Myrna have two grown-up sons; Efraim Roi and Joshua.
