Mar together with her late husband Roger have been missionaries for nearly five decades. They first served among the Aytas of Zambales for sixteen years and later joined NTSM as teachers and staff for five years. Then they moved to Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte to reach the Mamanwa tribe. Mar however suffered a stroke and the family returned to Bataan where Roger continued serving through a church in Mabiga, Bataan. In spite of their age and physical condition, this couple remained steadfast in their faith and calling. Even after Roger went home to be with the Lord, and despite her frail body, Mar’s life continually serves as a living testimony of faithful service and devotion to God whom she loves and serves with all her life.
